GFC Face
What is it?
Growth Factor Concentrate (GFC) is a non-surgical regenerative skin treatment that uses the patient’s own blood to stimulate skin repair and rejuvenation. Rich in naturally occurring growth factors, GFC improves skin texture, elasticity, hydration, and overall skin quality while supporting collagen production from within.
Because the treatment uses autologous material (your own blood), it is safe, biocompatible, and free from the risk of allergic reactions.
The Process
- Blood Extraction: A small volume of blood (10–30 ml) is drawn.
- Centrifugation: The blood is processed in a centrifuge for 8–10 minutes to separate and concentrate growth-factor-rich plasma.
- Re-injection: The concentrated growth factors are injected into targeted skin areas to stimulate collagen production, cellular repair, and tissue regeneration.
Since PRP uses the patient’s own platelets, it eliminates the risk of allergic reactions or rejection.
Procedure Details
- Duration: The entire procedure, including blood draw, processing, and injections, is completed in a single session lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Target Areas: GFC is commonly used for:
- Facial rejuvenation
- Fine lines and early ageing
- Acne scars and textural irregularities
- Dull or tired-looking skin
