COMPREHENSIVE CARE,

MICRODERMABRASION

A non-invasive treatment designed to improve the appearance of skin texture, pigmentation, acne scarring, fine lines, and uneven skin tone. This exfoliating technique boosts micro-circulation, bringing essential nutrients to the skin and significantly enhancing its overall appearance. By gently buffing away the outermost layer of skin, it helps reduce imperfections such as fine lines, pigmentation marks, and shallow acne scars. The treatment also stimulates collagen production, accelerates the regeneration of skin cells, and strengthens elastin, ultimately revealing fresher, healthier, and younger-looking skin.

Uses of Microdermabrasion

  • Ageing skin
  • Sun damage
  • Acne and scarring
  • Pigmentation marks
  • Dry, dull skin
  • Fine lines
  • Enlarged and clogged pores

How it works

Microdermabrasion is a hygienic, painless, and safe treatment that can be tailored to your skin concerns and desired intensity. We offer two methods of Microdermabrasion, ensuring a personalised experience:

  • Crystal Application: This method uses a combination of Aluminium Oxide and Organic Crystals to exfoliate the skin, applied with a hand-held wand.
  • Diamond Tip Application: An alternative to the crystal method, this technique uses a diamond tip wand made from natural diamond chips to polish the skin and remove dead cells. The dead skin cells are then vacuumed into a waste filter.

What to expect before & after Microdermabrasion?

Each treatment is tailored to address your unique skin concerns, with no downtime or discomfort. You may experience slight redness depending on the treatment’s intensity, which typically fades within a few hours to one day. A light dusting of mineral makeup can be applied after the procedure to cover any redness, if desired.

Important notes

  • Skin Sensitivity: Microdermabrasion is not recommended for individuals with fine, sensitive skin, active breakouts, or broken capillaries.
  • Pre-Treatment Care: Avoid waxing two days before your treatment and for five days afterward. It’s also advisable to refrain from using sunbeds or swimming in heavily chlorinated pools for at least two weeks post-treatment.
  • Consultation: If you have any underlying skin conditions or are unsure if this treatment is right for you, it’s best to discuss it with your treating doctor.
